Holiday Inn Express Marseille Airport is a perfect stopover for catching an early morning flight out of Marseille.
A short 30 mins ride from Aix took us to the airport from where a hotel shuttle picked us up and in 5 mins, we were at the hotel. A quick & efficient check-in saw us in the room in another 10.
2 rooms with 2 double beds, a small kitchenette with microwave, a large LCD TV in each room and you couldn’t have asked for more. They have a small restaurant with limited options but are nice enough to recommend a Sushi & Pizza joint nearby and helped us order a pizza for dinner. The bookings usually come with a full breakfast and it was excellent … a good variety of cereals, fruits, yogurt, bread with choice of ham and cheese etc.
Remember, you need to book a drop off and it’s taken care of efficiently.
There are no shopping places or restaurants nearby so you are restricted incase you have not driven there. As I said, they help you order lunch/dinner over to the hotel. Now which other hotel does that?
